KAT has made a series of key senior personnel appointments as part of an ambitious growth strategy.
Duncan Girling has joined KAT as Sales Director, to drive sales, product development and excellence across all areas of the business. Bringing a wealth of experience in the fenestration industry, Duncan is a highly respected sales and marketing professional with previous roles at John Fredericks, Evolution and Veka Halo.
On joining, Duncan said: “KAT is in a great position to evolve an exciting suite of uPVC and aluminium products. KAT has always been a high-end, niche manufacturer and this plays to my strengths. My job is to ensure that our product offer and service is market leading, backed by excellent customer care and cutting-edge information technology.”
Also joining the KAT team is Ria Pullen. Ria becomes Business Development Manager for the south of England, reporting to Duncan. Her role will involve working closely with a small group of customers, to develop a tight network of like-minded partners. Ria gained extremely valuable experience in previous sales roles at market leaders Masterframe, Evolution and Aluco.
These two appointments have enabled a strategic and positive restructure at KAT, with a number of special projects about to be launched, including the Knightsbridge uPVC Mechanically Jointed Flush Casement Window and Aluminium Art Deco Doors and Windows.
David Richards, Chairman of KAT, said: “We are delighted to welcome Duncan and Ria and look forward to the positive changes they will bring to keep us at the forefront of the market. Steve Williams joined as Operations Director in July 2018, with a 30 year career behind him in trade manufacturing of windows and doors and we now have a strong and balanced, industry experienced senior management team at KAT.”
