How secure are uPVC Sliding Patio Doors?

We know how important it is to keep your home secure and that is why we designed our uPVC Sliding Doors to discourage intruders.  Our doors can meet PAS 24 enhanced security standard.

3 Star Diamond lock cylinder

Our uPVC Sliding Patio Doors are fitted with a 3 Star Diamond lock cylinder for your security. To achieve PAS24 security, every door is fitted with a 6 hook bi-directional locking system, with the option of additional shootbolts and meeting style security bolts.

When the doors are in the locked position, they cannot be lifted off the track from the outside, due to the integrated anti-lift systems. All of our doors are manufactured to bespoke dimensions and each sash can be manufactured up to 1500mm wide. Contact KAT

Do uPVC Sliding Doors glide open smoothly?

In addition to security, we believe it is important that your Sliding Doors look good and perform well. We fit Hercules Rollers to our uPVC Sliding Doors which ensure that your door will glide smoothly, even with individual sash weights of up to 120kgs.

Door threshold capable of meeting Part M

We offer a range of door thresholds for our uPVC Sliding Doors.  The standard threshold is 58mm and is fully weathered. The low threshold is 20mm and has been weather tested to BS6375 and can include a ramp for wheelchair access. We also offer a 6mm room divider which is non-weathered.
