KAT has been manufacturing the PVC Sliding Patio Door since the company was established in 1998. In 2016, several enhancements were developed to ensure the KAT Patio Door continues to be made to the highest specification, as advertised in Glass Times magazine, May 2016.
How many colours can I choose from?
Each of our Sliding Patio Doors are made to bespoke sizes and there are now 10 colours to choose from, with short lead times of just 10 days, plus next delivery date. The colours are: Golden Oak, Golden Oak on White, Rosewood, Rosewood on White, White Woodgrain, White Gloss, Cream, Cream on White, Anthracite Grey on White or Black on White. Download a brochure.
Is the threshold Part M compliant?
If a low threshold is required for easy access for toddlers and wheelchair users, this can be specified and is Part M compliant.
What is the guarantee?
All KAT products are guaranteed for 10 years, including the PVC Sliding Patio Doors.
How secure are the Sliding Patio doors?
The Ultion cylinder lock is fitted to all KAT Patio Doors as standard, offering excellent security. Ultion has been tested against all known methods of break-in. When Ultion detects tampering by a would-be intruder, it goes into Lock Down Mode to protect your home. You can watch a short video here.
What colour door handles can I choose?
We have developed a door handle which is exclusive to KAT, available in six finishes: Chrome, Satin, Gold, Black, Anthracite Grey or White. The door handles are guaranteed for 10 years. Visit our website.
Do the doors glide smoothly?
Yes. We fit Hercules Rollers to our PVC Patio Doors which allow the sashes to weigh up to 160kg and offer a ‘smooth glide’ as standard.
