David Rutley, MP for Macclesfield, said: “It is good to see a local business like KAT experience continued strong growth over many years. I would like to pay tribute to the hard work and drive of the team at KAT, which has made this expansion possible. I am delighted to be able to join the team to help celebrate their success, and hear about future plans for growth. I wish them every success in the years ahead.”

The third building to be occupied by KAT at its Macclesfield base. It’s 85 employees are split between the Macclesfield base and the site at Newhaven in Sussex. The manufacturer covers the UK and Ireland.

Chris concluded: “The next step for KAT is acquisition. We already have a footprint in the North West and the South West, so we are looking for a geographically strategic base for further expansion both in terms of footprint and service”.

Following the official ceremony, KAT employees, their families and some local suppliers were all invited to continue celebrations with drinks and food.
