Youth Federation in Macclesfield
In September 2015, KAT began working with Youth Federation to provide a mentoring support service for young people in East Cheshire. The mentoring programme offers a range of personal and social development programmes outside the framework of the formal education environment. This helps raise the aspirations of young people and also provides an opportunity for individuals to actively engage with young adults and give something back.
David Richards, Chairman of KAT, was presented with a plaque by Kevin Bradburne of the Youth Federation, in recognition of David’s commitment to fund a local youth mentoring programme. Organised in conjunction with Cheshire Connect and the Youth Federation.
