These doors will not only elevate the look of your property but also offer long-lasting durability. Hurricane front doors are very easy to maintain and will not warp, shrink or distort like so many composite doors. Just a quick monthly wipe down with warm soapy water is usually all it takes to keep them looking great. To maintain handles and accessories, a little stainless-steel cleaner is ideal and on locks and hinges oil should be applied every few months to help keep everything in perfect working order. With this easy care routine, your door will stay functional and beautiful for 25 years or more!

Hurricane contemporary doors are extremely secure, with Passive House level thermal values. By combining world class engineering and design, and utilising the highest quality, perfectly suited steel and aluminium, our bespoke doors can be manufactured to sizes much wider and higher
than a composite door.

Glazing

Doors with glazing are triple glazed. Choose from Black Opaque, Graphite, Reflex Bronze, Reflex Grey, Sandblasted or Clear as standard. A Venetian Mirror option is available.

Hardware

Round or square pullbar in Black or Steel outside as standard. Lever handle is available outside.
Round pullbar available in three lengths: 600mm, 1200mm or 1800mm long.

Letterplate in Black, White or Anodised Silver. Spyhole available.

Security

Hurricane entrance doors combine the security and stability of a thermally enhanced steel-faced door leaf and the reliability of an aluminium frame. All steel and aluminium materials are wrapped in Renolit Exofol, a high-performance surface treatment, which has Solar Shield Technology embedded.

The Hurricane collection of front doors feature an aluminium outerframe and a 64mm deep door sash, with a high security steel skin. This combination of materials offers superior insulation and amazing energy efficiency, while its substantial appearance will add an attractive and secure element to any home.

Hurricane doors achieve Passive House level thermal values, with U-Values as low as 0.77 W/m²K for all solid designs, whilst glazed designs achieve a U-Value of 0.88 W/m²K.

These entrance doors are available in bespoke sizes up to 1208mm wide by 2476mm high, to perfectly complement your home.

Hurricane Aluminium Entrance Doors are usually chosen with an elegant round or square pullbar handle on the outside, available in three lengths: 600mm, 1200mm, or 1800mm, all in black or brushed steel. The interior usually features a lever handle, available in a contemporary Black or Steel finish. In some cases, customers prefer the look of a lever handle externally, particularly on traditional doors.

Additionally, you have the option to enhance your door with a stylish thumbturn, letterbox or a Spyhole, allowing you to easily see who is at the door.

Safety & Security

For peace of mind, Hurricane front doors conform to RC2 and PAS24 security. Every door is fitted with a multi-point lock with two hooks, two horizontal bolts, one deadbolt and a latch. For additional security, four security dogbolts are factory mounted, to reinforce the hinge side of the door. On taller doors, or where extra vigilance is needed to prevent young children inadvertently opening the door, we can include an additional deadbolt locking point towards the top of door.

Hurricane doors are supplied with 3 or 5 keys or if preferred, you can choose to include a Black or Silver thumbturn on the inside of your front door, which allows you to unlock and open your door from inside your home, without the need for a key.

Hurricane front doors are wrapped in Renolit Exofol, a high-performance surface treatment, which has Solar Shield Technology embedded. Renolit reflects infrared radiation, substantially reducing the build-up of heat on the doors externally, so your door will retain its geometry and exact fit. You are free to choose from 18 Renolit finishes and we can manufacture dual colour doors, with a different colour internally and externally.
