Building Regulations

If your sash window needs to comply with any special regulations or part of the Building Regulations, or meet a certain specification i.e. B.B.A. or BS7950/SBD, or if you wish for a particular W.E.R. rating please let us know, we will try to oblige and advise where we can. KAT sash windows can be manufactured to be fully compliant with UK Building Regulations Part L,N,F and B depending on sizes and specification.

Shaped Frames

We can manufacture arched and other shaped head sash windows, subject to certain constraints. Please always enquire with customer service team and send in detailed drawings and templates for any special shaped windows. Typically the top/shaped sash must be fixed but a full tilt and slide operation is usually possible on the bottom sash if required.
