Timber Bifold Doors

KAT’s bespoke Timber bifold doors are made in engineered timber for added stability and strength. They are available in a variety of wood such as Engineered Oak, Idigbo and other Hardwoods, or Redwood. We can usually manufacture them to match existing windows or doors, so please ask about further timber options.

Opening options

Timber bifold doors are available in 3, 4 or 5 panel options in a range of configurations. The maximum recommended width per panel is 900mm. The standard door thickness is 56mm. Doors fold outwards only.

Glazing

Supplied unglazed. Doors to suit 24mm double glazed units. Toughened glass can be supplied, please ask for details.

Colours and finishes

Doors can be spray painted with a guarantee of up to 10 years. Stains in a variety of colour options are guaranteed for 5 years. Or we can supply the items untreated for you to treat immediately.

Hardware options

Matching door furniture is available with Brushed Chrome as standard, but are also available in Bright Chrome, Black and Brass Effect.

Security

We use three point locking systems and flush bolts to ensure security.

Matching products

We can also make casement and sash windows, residential doors, patio doors and staircases in timber.

Lead Times

Timber bifolds can be manufactured 4 – 6 weeks from receipt of order.
